• Usage Data: We collect basic data about how you use the Service (e.g., page views) via Google Analytics.
• Device Data: We may collect anonymized device data such as browser type, IP address (anonymized), and screen size.

2. Social Media & News Content

We do not use Facebook or Instagram login, and we do not access any private user data from Meta platforms.

Instead, we may collect and display publicly available content (such as positive and uplifting social media posts or embedded media) from kind-hearted sources including:

• TikTok
• Instagram
• Facebook
• Twitter (X)
• LinkedIn
• YouTube
• Trusted news websites

This content is displayed as-is for public interest and educational purposes, with proper attribution and links to the original sources. We do not collect or store any private data from these platforms.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate users and manage access (via Firebase Authentication).
• To improve user experience through anonymous usage statistics (basic Google Analytics).
• To serve inspirational and educational content, including social posts and news stories.
• To send optional notifications (if you opt in) about new stories or updates.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share necessary data with the following trusted third parties:

• Firebase: Used for authentication, secure user data storage, hosting, and push notifications.
• Google Analytics: Used only for basic page view and engagement metrics.

No data is sent to Meta/Facebook or other social media platforms.

5. Your Rights

• Request access to your personal data.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent to data processing (e.g., opt out of analytics).
• Delete your account: You can delete your account and associated personal data directly from within the app’s settings at any time. Once deleted, this action cannot be undone.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, associated data will be permanently erased from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and track anonymous usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may stop working.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately. The platform is intended to provide positive, educational content and should not be used by children under 13 without parental consent.
